Puppy ID Bands are colorful litter collars to provide identification to newborn puppies and kittens for the first few weeks after birth. Lightweight and thin velcro-style bands wrap around and self attach with a secure grip. 12 different colors in each package. Choose from 3 sizes. Adjustable.
Puppy ID Bands are colorful litter collars for newborn puppies and kittens or other small animals. The litter collars provide an easy way for breeders to keep up with who's who in the litter. Each package contains 12 collars (bands) so each pup wears a different color. Our wrap-around style puppy litter bands are lightweight and thin made with a softer (safer) velcro material that self attaches. When used correctly, they are safe for young puppies and other small animals.
The 8 inch size is recommended for all breeds (newborns) to start with. The 8 inch size can be used for about 7 days before moving up to a larger size if needed.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to wrap the puppy band straight around so that it attaches to itself completely. There should be a minimum 2 inch overlap for it to have a secure grip. Wrap the band loose enough that a finger can slide under it but not so loose that it can get hung on another object. Check daily for growth adjustments. Because they are made of a softer (safer) material, fading may occur sooner than other stiffer velcro products.
