The Puppy Play Gym provides a sturdy base to hang interesting and fun toys for young puppies from the age of 3 -12 weeks. Great for early neurological stimulation to help develop more confidence and exposure to new textures and sounds. (Toys are not included.)
The Puppy Play Gym was created to support early stimulation and cognitive development in young puppies. Breeders understand the importance of raising stable, well adjusted and confident puppies. Exposing them to many different sounds and textures during their early weeks will give them a great head start. Studies regarding early neurological stimulation in puppies have confirmed that one of the critical periods for canines to be stimulated is between 4 and 16 weeks of age. Research has shown that non-stimulated pups may become fearful of unfamiliar objects and will withdraw rather than investigate. Even well bred puppies with superior pedigree could grow up preferring the safe environment of their kennels rather than the stimulating world outside, and may also be more difficult to train.
The Puppy Play Gym provides a stable play station for hanging interesting toys that will introduce the pups to different textures, sounds, and will stimulate their developing nervous systems. Use your imagination to create a fun gym by hanging fun toys that squeak and rattle, rotating different toys to keep things interesting.
Made with commercial grade PVC in assorted colors (not painted). Easy to clean. Partially assembled.No glue or tools needed. Extension legs are also available for larger breeds or for using longer term for small breeds.
Currently we are in the process of obtaining a patent on our Early Development Puppy Play Gym which was created and designed exclusively by Puppies in Bloom™. It is now being sold worldwide, used in seeing-eye dog training centers and raising money for kennel clubs at dog show auctions. We will continue to offer the gym as long as there is a demand for it.
